Hams Well Service P.O. Box 223 , Westhope, North Dakota, United States
Since Nov, 2021
Ham's Well Service was established in Westhope, ND in the early 60's by Ralph "Red" Ham. Red came from Paris, Texas and was working for an oilfield contractor here when he started his business with two service rigs, water truck and a steam cleaner. Ray Weyer went to work for Ham's as a toolpusher in 1970, and bought the business in 1975. Ray added two more rigs and a couple hot oil trucks. Ray sold the business to his son-in-law and daughter, Daryl & Muriel Andersen in the fall of 1993. They incorporated Daryl and Muriel's roustabout business which they operated since 1980 into Ham's and growth and expansion have taken place since. In 2010 Ham's purchased an oilfield icon, Production Service in Mohall, ND, and began operating from that location as well. Ham's is at present operating eight rigs, several hot oil trucks, roustabout crews, rental equipment and a welding shop. Ham's has a significant amount of very loyal key employees who have been here 10-15 years with a few as many as 25. We have been here for the past 50 years and plan to be here for the next generation to come as Daryl and Muriel's daughter and son-in-law Shane and Whitney Bryans are working in the business. As a service company, we are committed to customer satisfaction while proving a safe environment for our employees.
