The Baumann company was founded in 1954 by the toolmaker Hermann Baumann. From the humble beginnings with a workforce of an assistant and an apprentice in the first year, a core of over 130 employees has emerged to this day.
In addition to the typical products of tool construction, such as the development and manufacture of cutting, punching and drawing tools, a machine construction company has come to manufacture customer-specific special machines. Likewise, today not only tools are manufactured, but parts are produced with these tools according to customer specifications. A modern stamping shop with over 100 presses is available for this.
In 2007 the Baumann company expanded its portfolio to include " solar technology ". Since then, assembly systems have been manufactured for the attachment of photovoltaic systems. As an extension, the " Baumann Solar Technology " department was founded in 2011 , through which we are now able to offer complete systems from planning to installation.
