On a gas grid biomethane is stored and used during periods without any wind and sun. Similarly, it can be used as a CO₂ neutral high-temperature heating media, covering areas where today’s electrical solutions (heating pumps and heaters) are unable to deliver sufficient energy and be able to cover large scale industrial needs.
