In 2005, James “Butch” Ray and Paul Stutes turned a shared vision of designing and building safe, user-friendly hydraulic power and control systems into a reality by forming Stella Maris. From our humble beginnings 15 years ago, Stella Maris has now evolved into a large team of highly specialized professionals that custom engineer and manufacture state-of-the-art systems all under one roof in a 55,000-SF climate-controlled facility based in Lafayette, LA, the heart of the US oil and gas industry.
