Red River Biorefinery is an advanced ethanol production facility located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The facility produces high-grade ethanol (ethyl alcohol) for use in hand sanitizers products, fuel-grade ethanol additives, animal feed, and renewable natural gas. RRB has one of the lowest carbon footprints of any ethanol production facility in North America due to its use of certain feedstocks and recycling of the natural gas produced from its own waste water discharge.   ​  Red River Biorefinery is a proud contributor to the Grand Forks region by providing a high-value agricultural product as well as a key service to various farming cooperatives and food manufacturers.
