Five Star Downhole Service, Inc. was founded in late 2015 by Dr. Tingji (TJ) Tang who was academically and industrially trained as a materials scientist with around 30 granted patents and over 10 scientific journal publications in the areas of fracturing, sand control, frac fluids, acidizing, EOR and downhole tools, as well as semiconductor materials. He obtained his PhD from The University of Texas as Austin in 2006 and has over 10 years of experience in unconventional oil and gas industry. Since its inception, Five Star Downhole Service Inc has been working very closely with its customers on their raw materials demand for downhole tools and downhole fluids as well as engineering and consulting needs for the OFS market and new technology development.
