Founded in 2012, Biogas Clapton is a UK based company at the forefront of the renewable energy industry. Our team has more than 20 years of experience in this sector and has successfully acquired, developed and managed multiple AD plants across the UK and Germany. 

Prior to starting Biogas Clapton, director Günther J. Schulz founded his CHP business in Germany in the late 1980's, which he turned into one of the world's leading biogas CHP manufacturers at the time. The company had annual sales of more than €33m and are than 170 employees, by the time he sold the business to a US investment group in 2008.
