UK Oil & Gas PLC (UKOG) is an ambitious international oil & gas exploration company, striving to support the drive for increased energy security for this country, while pursuing and embracing opportunities in the UK and abroad.

We have a wide range of assets in the south of England, but UKOG is best known as the company behind Horse Hill, dubbed the “Gatwick Gusher”.

In summer 2020, UKOG took its first international step by taking a 50% non-operated working interest in the 305 km² Resan Licence in SE Turkey, bordering on Iraq.

UKOG is also working to explore further opportunities within our 100%-owned Broadford Bridge licence area, such as Loxley, and advance our other assets, including Arreton on the Isle of Wight.

By making use of the world’s latest oil & gas technologies, implemented by our expert and technical team, we are endeavouring to increase production at Horse Hill, turn our discoveries into commercially viable oil & gas fields and add further discoveries for the benefit of the UK.

We are also actively investigating ways to benefit local communities by creating employment (direct and through the services we buy) and financial benefits. At the heart of all that we do is working to minimise our impact on local communities and ensuring we have total respect for the environment in which we live and where we operate.
