We at GETEK have over 30 years of experience from the solar cell industry. We delivered the first solar panels to cabin customers in the early 80's. In 1993, we installed in GETEK the first grid-connected photovoltaic system in Norway (Olympic Village, Hamar). In parallel, we have developed Hybrid and autonomous energy supply solutions that combine solar, wind and diesel with high operational reliability. This has made us a leading supplier of power supply systems to players such as NVE, the Norwegian Polar Institute, AVINOR, the Armed Forces, the UN and the Police.

Today, we have unique expertise from both grid-connected and offgrid facilities for very demanding Arctic conditions.
