John G. Techiera established Linwood Fuel, Inc. in the 1930s, passing along the business to his son, John M. Techiera, in 1978. A little more than 15 years later, John's oldest son, Michael, began working full time after many years of learning the business as a young helper to his father. Then, in 1996, John's youngest son, John Jr., joined his father and brother in the family business. The three worked together building the family business for many years. John Sr. retired in 2008, but was always a fixture around the office until his passing in 2017.
