In a world where fossil fuels are limited, nuclear is expensive, and neither are sustainable – the goal of SSW is to continue to contribute towards the development and deployment of clean, renewable solar generation and storage technology.
Solar South West was established in 2009, by Nicholas Keeler, Mark Wheaton, Tim Noyes and Philip Cook. At this time the UK solar industry was very small, and an opportunity existed for a business to specialise in commercial scale systems, offering forward-thinking clients access to the subsidies offered by the Renewables Obligation and Feed in Tariff schemes and by shielding them from increasing electricity costs.
