About Company

In 1914, in a second story office building in Bryan, Ohio, Dale Bard founded a small heating and plumbing contracting business.  Over 105 years later the company is still family owned, and is under the leadership of the fourth generation. Our corporate offices remain in Bryan, and we operate a wall-mount manufacturing facility in Madison, Georgia and a coil production plant in Saltillo, Mexico. Our modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment allow us to deliver consistent, quality products to our globally expanding market.  From our first patented oil furnace in the 1930’s to today’s indoor air quality products, Bard continues to meet the progressively changing needs of our customers with dedicated product innovation. Bard is the industry’s leading innovator of wall-mount air conditioning and heat pump technology. In fact, we have been manufacturing wall-mounts longer than any other company – starting in 1962. Behind all these innovations is our dedication to research and development, continually seeking ways to make our products more consumer- and dealer-friendly.  Bard Manufacturing Company has been committed to the highest quality in the engineering and manufacturing of climate control solutions since the beginning, and that is what distinguishes the Bard name today. We take a proactive approach to quality, testing each unit individually before we ship it.  We’re proud of our history, but we’re not content to rest on our past successes. At Bard, we strive for continual improvement, so we can continue to bring the world the highest quality heating and cooling equipment, always at a fair price.
