Professional Customized Support for All Geothermal Systems
WellSpring Geothermal provides heating and cooling expertise to engineers, architects, and contractors in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. We can help design, build, and trouble-shoot any new or existing geothermal system.
Our services include:
- Every geothermal heating and cooling project is unique. Let us provide you with a thorough report outlining which system will be the most energy-efficient and cost-effective. Our recommendations are based on local geology, heating and cooling demands, and cost comparisons with other energy methods. Our report will provide you and your client with the information you need to make the right energy system choice.
- Having a geothermal system designed by a Certified Geo-Exchange Designer (CGD) is a critical step toward ultimate success. Our designer, Timothy M. Roos, is a CGD and an experienced Professional Engineer licensed throughout New England, New York, and Ohio. We work closely with the MEP, Architect, or Contractor designing the in-building system to ensure that the geothermal components will couple seamlessly with it.
- State and local governments often have regulations that require specific permitting for geothermal heating and cooling systems. We can navigate this aspect of your project to help eliminate any confusion. Every locale is different, but we can research current state and local policies that might effect your project and assist with the required permitting paperwork.
- Once you have a great geothermal design, you will want to make sure that all the components of the installed system adhere to the design specifications. Our communication with the well drillers and installers throughout the construction process, as well as onsite inspections, will help ensure that everything is installed properly and as specified.
- Geothermal heating and cooling systems are not cookie-cutter! Designs and installations can vary in complexity based on the specifics of each location and anticipated use. Whether you are in the planning stages or mid-installation, we can help answer questions or address concerns to get your project back on track. Our insight will help you to make the best decisions about prospective or existing projects.
- Like all mechanical systems, geothermal heating and cooling installations can develop issues over time. We can help determine the cause of any troubles, inspect and evaluate the system, and recommend solutions. A consultation with us can help you operate at peak efficiency and maximize the longevity of your geothermal system.
