Austell Natural Gas System, a.k.a. Austell Gas System, established in 1954, is a natural gas distribution utility. Austell Gas System is a component of the City of Austell, Georgia and is governed and administered by the Austell Gas Board. Austell Gas System serves residential, commercial and industrial customers in the cities of Austell, Douglasville and Powder Springs and in portions of Cobb and Douglas Counties. Austell Gas System provides natural gas service to more than 56,000 customers throughout its service area.  Austell Gas System’s goal is to provide safe, reliable and friendly service at the most economical price possible.

Simply follow the steps below to establish gas service:

• Contact an Austell Gas customer service representative at 770-948-1841, option 4
• Provide the service address to the customer service representative
• Minimum deposit of $100 is required but can be waived by providing a letter of credit from a current or previous gas or electric provider for the most recent 12 months indicating no late payments and no disconnections of service.
• Letters of Credit excluding 12 month payment and disconnect history will not be accepted
