Select Oilfield Services was formed in February of 2011 in Harvey Louisiana to better service the slickline industry. After just a few months Select had out grown the initial 3 units and single lift boat by June of the same year. Select negotiated and bought Wireline Specialist of Louisiana, this acquisition added an additional 23 units including 4 land quick rig trucks and a Lafayette Division. Further expansion pushed Select in to the South Texas Region, with two additional divisions in Kingsville and Kennedy as well as adding an additional quick rig slickline truck built in-house.       As well as the slickline growing so did the marine department with to date 4 Jack-ups and 2 Self-Propelled Spud Barges bringing Selects fleet count up to 6. In addition, Select’s diversified team has built a $3M dollar platform from ground up as well as other various repairs up grades, pipe repairs, tie-ins, etc. utilizing current manpower and our in-house certified welders. Select to this date continues to grow and to seek expansion opportunities as we focus on the future.
