Since Spot Power was founded, customers who have left big utility companies to join us have saved over $3.5 million on their bills. But it wasn't always that easy for consumers to get the best rates on electricity.  Before Spot Power, we provided energy management services to many of Alberta's largest oil and gas companies. We knew consumers weren't getting the best rates possible. So, using systems built for our industrial clients, we hung a shingle on our front door and Spot Power was born.  Our goal was simple: we would be the low cost energy marketer that passed savings directly to our customers.  Today we have customers in over 400 Alberta communities, Spot Power services all of Alberta except for Medicine Hat and some Rural Electrification Association (REA) areas.
