Zonge International3475 North Dodge Blvd , Tucson, Arizona, United States
Since Jan, 2020
The company was formed in 1972 by Kenneth L. Zonge who developed the complex resistivity (CR) investigation method, demonstrated its uses for natural-resource exploration, and became the first to build a microprocessor-based electromagnetic (EM) receiver in the early 1970s. Today Zonge serves as a resource to exploration managers, engineers and independent consultants in three application areas— exploration, environmental and geotechnical. The company performs hundreds of projects each year involving seismic, magnetics, gravity and other geophysical methods, in addition to the EM methods it helped establish. Formerly Zonge Engineering and Research Organization, the company changed its name to Zonge International in 2011. Zonge International maintains offices in Tucson, Ariz. and Reno, Nev. and regularly establishes field offices for deployment worldwide.
Zonge International is a geophysical services and equipment resource for geoscientists and project managers in exploration, research, geotechnical and environmental engineering worldwide. Zonge is near the completion of a long-term reorganization. The early stages of the reorganization focused on our moving the headquarters of the Services group to Reno, NV. With that effort largely complete we are moving on to the Instrument group, with all Engineering and Manufacturing moving into the same facility at 3475 N Dodge Ave, Tucson AZ. With this move the last members of Zonge will be out of our long-term home on Fort Lowell Road and we are therefore in the process of selling that property and moving into our new home for the next 50 years.
