Our Process

• We will meet with you and analyze your current electrical usage  so we can design a plan not only based on your current usage but we also try take into consideration future usage as well.  We look at cost, efficiency, location, and usage.  Although we have 30 years of experience, we treat every customer’s home as a unique project.
• Once the customized plan is determined, we will submit your NEM Application (provided by Hawaiian Electric Company), Building Permit Application, Electrical Permit Application, and if need be, your Solar Hot Water Rebate Forms and Homeowner’s Association Packet for approval.
• Once approval is granted, we will schedule with you an approximate timeframe for installation of your solar system. Our installation crew will come out and go over our installation process with you for final approval. Approximate installation timeframe is 1‐5 days depending on the size of your system.
• In our final step, your solar consultant will install and go over the monitoring process of your system. We will set up your online account so that you may monitor your system as you please. Your system will also be supported by our office manager and monitoring specialist should you have any questions or concerns.
• Once all permits and applications have been closed and completed, Hi‐Power Solar will contact you and ensure you have received all your necessary documents and permits. We will also do another follow‐up with you to make sure your system is functioning properly and efficiently.
