Areas of expertise include current, prior and discontinued versions of turbine control, excitation, LCI, generator protection and vibration monitoring systems. During the years, GTC has expanded its product line to support all aspects of turbine users’ needs with proprietary developments in repair technology, upgrades, services and technical support, paired with competitive pricing and unparalleled customer service. Through a companywide dedication to quality in processes and products, GTC proudly maintains ISO 9001 certification. Our team of committed personnel has decades of field and repair technology experience that will exceed your expectations and support the life of your power plant assets.
PRODUCT LINES AND CORE COMPETENCIES
With an extensive stock of GE circuit boards and other controls system components, GTC enables the user to keep and potentially improve the controls system’s expected reliability and availability. GTC also supports drive controls systems in the steel, aluminum and paper industries. To ensure availability of critical components, GTC stocks thousands of genuine GE-manufactured circuit boards and other technology components, with emphasis on the Speedtronic Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV, Mark V, Mark Ve, Mark V LM, Mark VI, and Mark VIe Turbine Controls Systems; the EX2000, EX2100, EX2100e, Alterrex, Generrex and earlier Excitation Systems, the Innovation Series and LS2100 LCI Systems as well as a wide array of other component parts.
INNOVATION
GTC offers its own modern Mark V power supply, know as GTC-TCPS-1. For the Mark IV, originally designed with very limited connectivity, GTC offers upgrades of the operator’s interface (CRT + PIMB) with state-of-the-art technology enabling data gathering and remote operability through the GTC-S (HMI server). Committed to supporting the customer’s operational and maintenance excellence, GTC developed comprehensive test and repair protocols. GTC’s proprietary processes feature a unique final functional test in an energized GE controls system panel to consistently deliver reliable, working components. These technological advantages promoted GTC to a distinct leadership position in the industry, maintained through significant investment in continuous development and improvement.
Mission Statement
Gas Turbine Controls (GTC) will consistently provide a reliable alternative solution to operators, offering them valid, consistently reliable options to escape the pressures to upgrade and allowing users to “keep the control” for many years, even decades, beyond the end of OEM support.
