At Gulfstream Natural Gas System L.L.C., we are proud to help make Florida’s energy future a reality.  Placed into service in May 2002, Gulfstream is a state-of-the-art, 745-mile natural gas delivery network, quietly bringing unprecedented reliability to Florida energy consumers. As the Sunshine State’s first new natural gas pipeline in more than 40 years, Gulfstream can transport approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet of natural gas each day from vast natural gas reserves to a wide array of customers, including electric utilities, local distribution companies and municipal users.  Natural gas flows 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through this vast underground transportation system – a system that is efficient, environmentally safe and reliable. All this to ensure that Florida’s energy future remains bright.

Ownership

Gulfstream Natural Gas System, LLC is jointly owned and operated by Williams Partners L.P. and Spectra Energy and its affiliates. Together, Williams and Spectra bring decades of experience to Gulfstream — experience that includes major pipeline system development, operations, engineering and environmental expertise.

Operations

Gulfstream’s underground pipeline system quietly and safely delivers natural gas to create energy for communities throughout Florida. You may be more familiar with your local utility company, which probably uses natural gas to fuel power plants that create electricity.  Gulfstream takes great pride in the relationship of trust and harmony we’ve developed with the many landowners and communities with whom we co-exist.
