Slick is the result of years and years of obsessively thinking about how heating oil is delivered. And yes, this is something weve chosen to think about for hours on end. Just ask our family and friends...or dont because theyre likely to roll their eyes at you.  It was the winter of 2012. Chris was doing dishes and looking out his kitchen window watching his oil tank go lower and lower as the cold winter days persisted. He was on the typical “start-up” budget of $0 per month and when his tank got low enough hed call his local oil company. He was consistently underwhelmed by their service and overwhelmed by their price and amazed at the antiquated nature of the industry. And so it went for years until PJ and Rob began to help Chris shape a new process.  After countless hours, debates, brainstorming and the occasional beer or two, Slick was born in 2016. The Slick team brings together decades of experience in a wide range of areas ranging from sales to marketing to software development and all things inbetween. Weve brought industry experts together with titans of software development. We are venture backed and ready to make the lives of oil heating consumers better and the lives of oil delivery companies more efficient. We will be launching in Fall of 2017 and hope youll make the journey with us.

We promise that you will pay the lowest price per gallon for your oil or we will pay you the difference! Its that simple. We want to take away any doubt that youre getting the best price on your oil and were willing to put our money where our mouths are.

You are responsible for proving the competitors price and date.

Competing company must service your area (as defined by your delivery location zip code) and cannot be located outside of Slicks current service area. All claims should be emailed to pricecheck@slickenergy.com. Once we review, we will approve or disapprove within 24 hours. If approved, your account will be refunded the difference per gallon within an additional 24 hours. Slick is free to change, amend, update and/or terminate this policy at our discretion at any time for any reason.
