Mark and Teresa Fischer began Fischer LP Gas in 1987.  The companys purpose was to fill small cylinders for local residents, campers and propane grills.  However, they quickly saw a need to expand their business to service residential propane tanks. In 1991, Fischer LP invested in large propane tanks to begin installing at households.  With a trailer and minimal equipment, they began servicing the small community of Wellston, Michigan.   â€‹  Over the next 20 years the company stretched their borders, servicing customers within a 2-hour radius of their small hometown business.   About Fischer LP Gas Gas Delivery Truck Much of  Mr. and Mrs. Fischers success is rooted in being known as a "friendly, small-town business," having a business model based on serving the community like you serve your family.   â€‹  In 2014, Fischer LP Gas opened a second branch in Baldwin, Michigan.  This office services customers as far south as Newago and west to Branch. In 2015, Fischer LP Gas opened a third branch in Free Soil, Michigan. This branch serves parts of Manistee all the way south to New Era and east to Branch.      August of 2017 officially launched the opening of a fourth branch in Marion, Michigan.  This branch services customers as far north as Manton and south to Barryton, MI.

All branches have the ability to fill cyliders from 20# to 100# tanks. Motorhomes are also welcomed to come and fill at any location during business hours.
