John Hanlon founded J Hanlon Oil Company in 1982 in Waltham, MA.  After graduating from NEFI and apprenticing with a local heating oil service company, John opened the company to take his commitment to excellence to the next level and supply not only the service but also heating oil to his neighbors and friends.  He enjoyed continued growth and expanded the business to include the removal and installation of all types of underground and above ground storage tanks.  Look through our site for some examples of his work.  J Hanlon Oil Company is family-owned and operated right here in METROWEST. Since our company opened in 1982, weve treated every customers home as if it were our home. John Hanlon founded J Hanlon Oil Company in 1982 with the purchase of his first oil tank delivery truck in western Massachusetts.  He began selling #2 heating oil to his neighbors and friends and expanded to Metrowest.  He married in 1986, has 3 college age children and  still resides in Metrowest. John is a member of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce and recently became a proud participant of HOPESudbury.
