Pedersen Oil Company, Inc. is a family owned COD oil company serving most of Union County, along with parts of Somerset, Middlesex and Essex Counties.  The company was founded in 1983 when Mr. Pedersen saw a need for an alternative to the high prices of heating oil charged by full service oil companies.  Mr. Pedersen retired in 1996, but the company continues to thrive under the management of his daughter, Kiersten and her husband, Jim.  For over 25 years, Pedersen Oil Company has been helping homeowners save money on their fuel costs while providing excellent customer service.  In addition to heating oil, Pedersen Oil Company, Inc. provides both on and off road diesel fuel.

Diesel Fueling

We offer commercial customers the convenience of on-site fueling for both on and off road diesel equipment. On-site deliveries for off-road construction equipment are typically made Monday through Friday 7am-4pm.

Common solutions to No Heat problems

• Check to make sure you have fuel oil.
• Be sure that that both burner switches are on, one switch is normally located at the top of the basement stairs, or by the unit. It should have a red switch plate. There may also be one mounted on the burner.
• Try to get the furnace to turn on by raising the thermostat above room temperature.
• Press reset button on burner once only!
• Check to see if flame comes on.
