Family Propane was founded in October of 1988 in Apache Junction, AZ.  Located at 255 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction, founder Jeff Martin started the business with premier customer service as the over-riding goal for Family.     From the inception of the business, Jeff focused on the RV parks of the East Valley of Phoenix. Family worked diligently to provide improved customer service and safety. Family quickly became the supplier of choice within its service area.     The RV parks led to growth in the residential market place with Family moving quickly to become the supplier of choice for propane cylinder service for the East Valley of Phoenix.

• Family became a licensed contractor, January of 2000, in order to provide complete tank setting services to its customers. As a licensed contractor Family can provide complete gas plumbing packages for all levels of customers, domestic, commercial and industrial.

• 15 years of growth have lead to many changes in Family Propane, but all were built around customer satisfaction. Family prides itself on being a “YES!” company. Family provides safe, efficient and competitive propane services in the East Valley of Phoenix.

• Charlie Ory, now the Owner-Operator, formed Family in 1999. Charlie, a past-president and current board member of the APGA (AZ Propane Gas Assn.), current Vice Chairman of NPGA (National Propane Gas Association), member of the Technology and Standards Committee of the NPGA, member of the Consumer Education and Awareness Committee of the PERC (Propane Education and Research Council) is the day-to-day operation manager of Family.

• As a small business owner Charlie has focused on customer service, safety and employee growth to maintain the high standards he has set for Family. Family as a locally owned and operated business, is able to serve the communities they deliver to. Family relies on local businesses for its needs. Family staffs its office on a year round basis with local personnel familiar with the area and the people.

We specialize in 100 pound cylinder delivery in the Phoenix East Valley. 

We offer two types of home delivery:

• We can also fill your cylinder on site.

• We also offer delivery to RV Parks in West Mesa and Apache Junction.

Two cylinders connected to a premium change-over regulator will perform well for fireplaces, cook-top/ovens, dryers as wells as stand by generators. The two cylinders will work in tandem to keep you in constant supply. As one cylinder run empty, the regulator will automatically switch to the full cylinder keeping your appliance in service. This allows you to call for service on the empty cylinder
