Veritas Energy, LLCP.O. Box 10850 , Fort Worth, Texas, United States
Since Nov, 2018
Hollis Sullivan formed Veritas Energy, LLC in 2011 as an energy company with a clear focus on values and good business practices. He brings over 30 years of tried and true experience in the oil and gas industry. Hollis got his start in the oil and gas business with Cobra Oil & Gas in the late 1970s. Hollis then joined his father’s company, S&H Oil Company, where he worked for over 11 years. In 1990, Hollis founded Hollis R. Sullivan, Inc. as a small oil and gas company based in Wichita Falls, Texas. The company drilled over 400 wells throughout the state of Texas during his tenure as President. Hollis R. Sullivan, Inc. sold its initial Barnett Shale assets to Encana in 2005. Recognizing additional opportunities in the Barnett, Hollis R. Sullivan, Inc. built a subsequent leasehold position, which was developed and later sold in 2008 to XTO Energy. After the sale, Hollis served as Chairman of Titan Operating, LLC in an advisory role from 2008 through 2012. In 2015, Veritas Energy, LLC directed their efforts to the Permian Basin and built a substantial leasehold and drilled wells, which together were merged into Double Eagle Energy Permian, LLC and later sold to Parsley Energy, Inc. in 2017. Veritas is actively leasing in an emerging play in the Mid-Continent region and continues to evaluate liquids-rich opportunities primarily throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
