Freyberg Petroleum is family owned and operated in Mankato, Minnesota. Steve Freyberg, along with his wife Lynette and two sons, Corey and Tyler, carry on a long-time family tradition in the petroleum products industry that began in the early 1900s. In addition to offering bulk fuel and petroleum products that are dispatched from the corporate facility off Hwy 169 in southern Mankato, Freyberg Petroleum operates two Shell stations; Shell on Lor Ray in North Mankato and Shell on 3rd Avenue just off Hwy 14. The Freybergs are active members of the Minnesota Petroleum Marketers Association.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)

Freyberg Petroleum has Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) available at the pumps at Shell on 3rd Avenue in Mankato. Required for your semis, pickups, and heavy equipment for emissions control, Freyberg Petroleum makes it possible to get your DEF at the pump. Delivery to your construction site is coming soon.

Non-biodiesel available

Freyberg Petroleum can supply your needs for non-biodiesel fuel. Your company needs to obtain the appropriate exemptions from the Minnesota state mandate for biofuel use. We can deliver to your Shell or private gas station from Minneapolis to Northern Iowa and implement an inventory control system that will assure that you have the supply that you need at the best price. For some customers, we monitor tanks and schedule delivery based on agreed upon supply levels.
