Our CEO and founder, Bob Creswell, was a regional manager for a bearing company in the 1970s, when he decided to start his own company, Creswell Industrial Supply. The company sold bearings and power transmission products, which included roller chains, V-belts, reducers, and electric motors. Around that same time, Richardson Electric was founded, offering electrical supplies, control automation, engineering, switches and parts.

The two companies were a natural fit, and in 2009, Creswell and Richardson announced they were merging to become the premier supplier for power transmission, electrical automation/panel building, and mechanical and electrical engineered solutions.

Our Tech Craft Automation division offers custom solutions by designing, fabricating, and integrating custom control systems. Our custom control system design and integration group handles everything from system startup to programming and training.

Creswell ETO Systems provide engineered to order solutions including capital project RFQs and operational productivity assessment.
