In 1979, Welder Services of Florida, Inc. was formed, with a focus on specialized service and on-time delivery to customers in need of the best welding supply products and industrial gases at the best prices. At the helm for over 20 years was Steve Knight and his former business partner, Denny Litzenberg, who together built a company that sustained recessions, manufacturing downturns, construction booms, and economic ups and downs, without compromising service and customer satisfaction.  On December 18, 2015, ten years after the retirement of his long-time business partner and after 35 years of dedicated service to his industry, Steve suddenly passed away. While this loss has been a devastating blow to all that knew and loved him, the family at WSI has continued to provide the fast and knowledgeable service and cost-saving solutions that customers have grown to trust and rely on.  Maintaining Steve’s philosophy has been an integral part of the transition to today’s WSI.  Brooke Knight, Steve’s daughter, has assumed leadership of the company, and with her background in finance, technology, and the military, Brooke has brought with her a diversified skill set.  With corporate operations still in West Palm Beach, WSI has expanded its business internationally, working with companies across the Caribbean to supply a vast assortment of welding supplies, industrial gases, and, through a joint venture in Grand Cayman, logistics solutions to the hospitality and medical industries.  As WSI continues its growth trajectory, we invite you to stop by our newly remodeled showroom, experience a hands-on demonstration during our informative, monthly vendor how-to expos, or give us a call to inquire on the many top name-brands we carry.
