Longhorn Solar began 17 years ago as Longhorn Services. Power couple Lynn and Louis Petrik began Longhorn Services as a lawn-care business but as the popularity of solar electricity grew, they developed a passion for solar power and renewable energy in general.After training and certification, and with a few successful projects under their belts – Longhorn Services officially incorporated Longhorn Solar in 2009.Since then, Longhorn Solar has installed over 1,000 solar photovoltaic systems that produce over 16 million kWh, helping our customers save almost $2 MILLION off of their utility bills.
