Steve Fitzmaurice
President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Fitzmaurice is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hawk. Mr. Fitzmaurice is a registered Professional Engineer with over 27 years of diverse experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Mr. Fitzmaurice was the President, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and a director of Hawk Energy Corp. (“Hawk Energy”) from inception in February 2003 to its sale to Flagship Energy Inc. in May 2006. From inception in November 1996 to its sale to APF Energy Trust in February 2003, Mr. Fitzmaurice was the President, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and a director of Hawk Oil Inc. (“Hawk Oil”) from inception in November 1996 to its sale to APF Energy Trust in February 2003.
In 1982 Mr. Fitzmaurice graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical with High Distinction). Mr. Fitzmaurice is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (“APEGGA”).
Dennis Jamieson
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jamieson is the Chief Financial Officer of Hawk. Mr. Jamieson is a Chartered Accountant and has over 15 years experience of senior financial and management experience primarily in the oil and gas industry. From February, 2007 to July 2008, Mr. Jamieson was the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Piper Resources Ltd., a non-listed, oil and gas company. From January 2006 to December 2006, Mr. Jamieson was the Vice President, Controller of Atlas Energy Ltd. (“Atlas”), a public oil and gas company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Atlas was sold to Pearl Exploration and Production Ltd. in December 2006. From December 1999 to October 2004, Mr. Jamieson was the Vice President, Finance of Piper Energy Inc., a private oil and gas company. Piper Energy Inc. changed its name in December 2004 to Prairie Schooner Petroleum Ltd. (“Prairie Schooner”) which was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in March 2005. Prairie Schooner was sold to True Energy Trust in September 2006. From December 1995 to October 1998, Mr. Jamieson was the Controller of Amber Energy Inc. (“Amber”), a public oil and gas company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Amber was acquired in October 1998 by Alberta Energy Company Ltd.
Mr. Jamieson graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) in 1990 and obtained a Chartered Accountant designation in 1994.
Randy Deobald
Vice President, Exploration
Mr. Deobald is the Vice President, Exploration of Hawk. Mr. Deobald is a registered Professional Geologist in the Province of Alberta with 27 years of wide ranging experience in the Canadian oil and gas business. From January 2003 to May 2006, Mr. Deobald was the Vice President, Exploration of Hawk Energy. From November 1996 to February 2003, Mr. Deobald was the Vice President, Exploration and a director of Hawk Oil.
Mr. Deobald graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science degree (Geology with Honours) and a Professional “A” Teaching certificate. Mr. Deobald is a member of APEGGA, the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (“CSPG”) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (“AAPG”).
Erik DeWiel
Vice President, Land and Corporate
Mr. DeWiel is the Vice President, Land and Corporate Secretary of Hawk. He is a Professional Landman with 23 years of oil and gas industry experience in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. From January 2003 to May 2006, Mr. DeWiel was the Vice President, Land and Corporate Secretary of Hawk Energy. From November 1996 to February 2003, Mr. DeWiel was the Vice President, Land and Business Development and a director of Hawk Oil.
Mr. DeWiel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary in 1989 and a Diploma in Petroleum, Mineral and Resource Land Management from Mount Royal College in Calgary in 1986. Mr. DeWiel is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen (“CAPL”).
Dave Bonnar
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Bonnar is the Vice President, Business Development of Hawk. From January 2003 to May 2006, Mr. Bonnar was the Vice President, Business Development and director of Hawk Energy. Mr. Bonnar was employed at Hawk Oil from July 1997 to February 2003 as a Senior Geologist.
Mr. Bonnar is a registered Professional Geologist in the Province of Alberta with 27 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas business. He graduated from Carleton University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree (High Honours) in Geology. Mr. Bonnar is a member of APEGGA and CSPG.
Greg Templin
Exploration Manager
Mr. Templin is the Exploration Manager of Hawk. From April 2003 to May 2006, Mr. Templin was the Manager of Geology of Hawk Energy. Prior to this, Mr. Templin was a Senior Geologist at Northrock Resources Ltd. from 1997 to 2003.
Mr. Templin has over 30 years of Geology experience in the oil and gas industry. He graduated from Carleton University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. Mr. Templin is a member of CSPG.
