Hezy Ram is an industry icon in the geothermal field, pioneering geothermal projects around the world. With extensive project development experience in the renewable energy, including site acquisition, transmission, project operations, power purchase agreements, transmission, project operations and maintenance, financing and tax monetization, Mr. Ram founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Ram Power Corp. He established RPI in January of 2008 to be a leader in the geothermal and solar thermal industry, and has now turned his considerable talents towards tapping Earth’s resources.​

Mr. Ram was with Ormat Technologies, Inc for twenty eight years serving as Executive Vice President of Business Development, and was responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions and green-field development of geothermal and other technology projects.

A recognized leader in the industry, Hezy Ram is considered a global player in the development, manufacturing and financing of energy projects. Hezy’s experience prior to joining Ram Energy, Inc. (REI) includes decades in senior management positions in the energy arena, with a proven record of success moving development projects into high value production assets. As an active spokesman for the renewable energy sector, Hezy is often sought after to speak on the finance and development of geothermal projects. His education includes an MBA, and BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering.

Paul Stroud brings more than 35+ years of world wide experience in the Energy Industry.  He started his career with Shell Oil Company as an Assistant Engineer working in the Los Angeles office. He then went to work for Atlantic Oil Company drilling and completing oil wells, natural gas wells and geothermal wells. Excelling cost cutting and problem solving, Mr. Stroud was offered several positions from a variety of Energy companies. With the impact of the 70s oil crisis Mr. Stroud decided to seek out alternate energy sources and chose UNOCAL, a leader in Geothermal Development. During his tenure with UNOCAL, Mr. Stroud quickly moved ahead of the pack and found new methodologies for drilling including drilling fluids, air drilling and aerated under balanced drilling along with tool designs that drastically reduced costs. Finding a real need in alternate energy sources Mr. Stroud started a consulting business in 1990 and has run successful operations for a variety of companies in the energy sector.

David Weisgerber, also a Principal with Ram, has over 30+ years of world wide experience in the industry with a comprehensive back ground in horizontal drilling of oil, gas, cbm, geothermal and completion work. Mr. Weisgerber is proficient in all methods of directional and horizontal orientation. He is also an expert in all methods of circulating mediums, including air drilling, aerated fluids, stiff foam, inverted and fresh water systems. Mr. Weisgerber started a successful consulting business in 1991 and drilled wells around the globe for a variety of energy companies. Mr. Weisgerber is noted for getting the job done especially in adverse conditions from the Rocky Mountains to the jungles of Indonesia. His ability to adlib and problem solve under stressful conditions is well known throughout the industry. David is a “Can Do” personality and a valued partner at Ram Energy, Inc.

James Hostetler is the fourth Principal at Ram Energy, Inc. During the past decade Mr. Hostetler has achieved a reputation for being a “Go To” person who has the creativity to get organizations moving.  His unique style has set him at the forefront of relationship management with a high profile in Market and Business Development. He has been involved with financial modeling and forecasting, Market Business development, financing and terms negotiations and due diligence research.​

In 2002, Mr. Hostetler co-founded DJI Partners, an Investment banking and corporate finance consulting firm dedicated to serve as an intermediate between investor awareness among investment bankers, analysts, hedge funds, separate account managers, mutual funds, brokerage firms and high net worth individuals.  He has performed extensive due diligence, built financial models and advised client companies.  Mr. Hostetler was recruited by Tatonka Oil and Gas Corporation to serve as Executive Vice President in 2006 and then by Zulu Corp in 2007 as Executive Vice President and Interim CFO.
