Formed in 1987, Gerhardt UK Ltd is an ISO 9001 certified company. Gerhardt UK Ltd are the exclusive UK agents for the following companies: Gerhardt Gmbh Analytical Systems, FRITSCH sample preparation and particle size analysis instrumentation and DataPhysics contact angle and surface tension measurement systems.

Gerhardt UK Ltd supplies a range of specialised products into niche markets. We pride ourselves in offering our customers the best possible pre and post-sales support, to ensure that the right product is specified for the individual customer application(s). This is accomplished by employing a team of product specialists, each with a wealth of experience in their respective fields.

Each member of our team is a specialist in their respective field:

Paul Campbell is the Gerhardt Product Specialist. Paul has a degree (BSc Hons) in Applied Biology, which was followed by working in Public Health and Food laboratories. Paul has been working for Gerhardt UK Ltd since 1993 and has a wealth of experience with all Gerhardt analytical systems, old and new.

Matt Gye is the Fritsch Product Specialist, looking after the sample preparation and particle size analysis product portfolio. Matt has a degree (BSc Hons) in Applied Chemistry and worked in a research and development laboratory for a mineral supplier for two and half years before taking his first job in application sales in 1999. Matt has been working for Gerhardt UK Ltd since 2008 and has built up considerable experience and knowledge with these products.

Steve Robinson is the DataPhysics Product Specialist and looks after the contact angle and surface tension measurement instruments. Steve has a degree (BSc Hons) in Applied Chemistry and worked in an ICI Analytical laboratory before taking his first sales job HPLC specialist. After a period selling Rheology equipment Steve then specialised on the DataPhysics surface and Interface analytical equipment products. Since 1998 Steve has built up a detailed knowledge of the field and DataPhysics Instrumentation.

Dave Ewer is our service manager and is trained to service and repair both the Gerhardt Analytical Systems instrumentation and the FRITSCH sample preparation and particle size analysis products. Prior to working for Gerhardt UK Ltd, Dave gained valuable experience in a number of service roles in various industries before coming to work for Gerhardt UK Ltd in 1997.

Sue Wright is Company Secretary and looks after the company accounts and order processing. Sue has worked in a number of positions, before coming to work for Gerhardt UK Ltd in 1997. Sue is another longstanding member of our specialist team and is normally the first point of contact at the office.

Service and Warranty support is available for all products supplied by C. Gerhardt UK Ltd.

All equipment supplied by C. Gerhardt UK Ltd can be serviced and or repaired by us either on-site or within our own service workshop in Brackley, Northants. On-site service rates are quoted as either travel / on-site time + spares required or as an annual preventative maintenance contract which includes travel and labour time.

Some problems encountered when using equipment can often be diagnosed and simply resolved over the telephone free of charge. In the first instance please call us on 01280 706772. 

If shipping equipment back to Gerhardt UK please ensure the correct packaging is used. Boxes are available for the correct transport of equipment on request. Gerhardt UK cannot be responsible for damage of equipment in transit to us.
