Phoenix EnergySafra, Kesrwan Lebanon , P.O.Box 11 - 2354, Lebanon
Since May, 2015
In 2008, Phoenix Energy spun off from sister company Phoenix Machinery. Phoenix Energy focuses on renewable energy applications, particularly on solar energy, biomass heating, wind energy, renewable energy resource assessment, as well as waste-to-energy solutions.
We study availability of the resources that directly affect the economical feasibility of a renewable energy project.
Established in 1998 in Safra, Phoenix Machinery produces new equipment and performs control upgrades and refurbishing for hygiene, plastic, tissue and paper machinery, as well as high CNC precision parts.
We have built a high level of technical expertise, through the support of our sister companies, in different fields of machine building, precision manufacturing, power management, and machinery and process automation. We have also developed strong distribution channels and a wide customer base spread throughout the Middle East and North Africa and Europe.
Phoenix Energy and Phoenix Machinery are member companies of INDEVCO Group.
Mission
Phoenix Energy believes in every person’s right to live in a healthy and more sustainable environment: Planit for Life.
Phoenix Energy is dedicated to reducing the world’s dependency on finite and harmful sources of energy by providing ecological and economical products and engineering solutions to the Lebanese and regional markets.
This mission is in line with INDEVCO Group corporate mission, "What is good for the community is good for the company", communicated by Georges N. Frem, Founder & Chairman of INDEVCO Group.
Agents
Phoenix Energy partnered with D’Alessandro Termomeccanica of Miglianico, Italy in February 2010 to become the exclusive agent of the CSI model biomass boilers and all other biomass boilers in Lebanon.
Since February 2010, Phoenix Energy has become the exclusive agent for Solior FL150 solar water heaters in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Solior FL150 solar water heaters are designed and manufactured by ITHO in the Netherlands. Phoenix Energy-agent of DAlessandro Termomeccanica Biomass Boilers

A Word from Our General Manager
The visionary Georges Frem continues to guide our operations through his insightful philosophy, which emphasized that “the objective of each member company will be to resolve one or more of the problems, which now hamper the social and economic development of the community”. With the support of CEO Neemat Frem, we have established Phoenix Energy to identify gaps in the supply of renewable energy products and solutions for the Lebanese and regional markets. Thus far, we’ve focused on solar water heating, alternatives to diesel fuel, and waste management.
Solar Water Heater. When we found that solar water heating products available in the region lacked quality, performance, and simplicity, we contacted leading European suppliers of solar heating technologies to establish an exclusive partnership for Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
Phoenix Energy now distributes the simple, compact, and durable Solior FL150 solar hot water system for domestic use.
Bio-Mass Boiler. When diesel fuel prices skyrocketed in 2008 and Lebanon experienced the shock of the international recession, we were driven to find more economic solutions for Lebanese to heat homes and businesses, while considering effects on the environment.
Phoenix Energy engineers turned to readily-available olive husks from local olive oil mills to fuel a bio-mass boiler, developed and manufactured in Italy, which operates at 92% efficiency. Phoenix Energy is now the exclusive agent for this product in Lebanon.
Waste-to-Energy Plant. When we looked for alternatives to recycle and transform waste into electricity, our professionals engineered a waste-to-energy plant.
Phoenix Energy can provide any public or private institution with a turn-key system that would consume waste and transform it into electricity, sterile ash, and emissions that meet European standards.
Resource Assessment Services
Phoenix Energy provides services to study resource availability directly affecting the economic feasibility of a renewable energy project. Renewable energy technologies are directly dependent on the availability of natural energy resources.
The resource assessment would involve:
Study of wind resources for wind power projects
Study of solar resources for solar power projects
Study of the type and composition of waste resources and their appropriate conversion methods for waste-to-energy projects
Study of biomass fuels
These services can be presented along with the renewable energy projects to secure investments and return on investment.
Waste-to-Energy Services
We select waste-to-energy processes based on the project capacity, waste type, and the output type required, whether it is fuel, process heat, or steam for electricity generation.
Waste-to-energy processes can be grouped under three categories: Physical, Thermal, and Biological Technologies.
Together with our customers, we define the waste type, project purpose and select the proper process depending on the required output.
Phoenix Energy engineered a waste to energy plant to recycle and transform waste into electricity. We can provide any public or private institution with a turn-key system that would consume up to 97% of the waste and transform it into up to 3 MWh of electricity, 3% sterile ash, and emissions that meet European standards.
