Eclectic Energy participated in the formulation of BWEA standard for small wind generators. This forms part of the (MCS) Micro Wind Certification Scheme introduced to provide customer assurance on performance and safety of products. Eclectic’s StealthGen Grid Tied Micro Wind System is currently passing through this testing and certification process.

Application

Small scale wind and water generators can provide useful quantities of electricity where no mains power is available. They also make a significant contribution towards more sustainable energy use by offsetting power drawn from the grid.
