The business activity of the KONÄŒAR Group lies mostly in power generation, distribution and transmission of electrical energy, industry and electric traction.

Founded in 1921, KONÄŒAR nowadays consists of 18 dependent companies and 1 affiliated company, and has around 3800 employees.

Annual sales amount to 320 million euros, of which more than half is exports. Furthermore, during recent years our group has delivered products and plants to more than 100 countries on all the continents.

The strategy of the KONÄŒAR Group within the coming period is a further growth in production in accordance with the needs of the market, with special attention to the application of our own know-how and corporate social responsibility.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Research and development of products and equipment serves as the groundwork for intellectual property independence and forms one of our main corporate values.

This activity takes place in our Electrical Engineering Institute and the development departments of factories, as well as in cooperation with educational and scientific institutions.

It is also linked with the ongoing professional training and improvement of staff in all aspects of the production process.

Above all, KONÄŒAR is a company that values people. One of our most important strategic goals is the continuous education of our employees.

KONÄŒAR has around 3800 employees, of which 1017 have university education, 25 have PhDs and 62 have their Masters diploma. Many highly educated workers are currently attending their postgraduate studies (specialist, postgraduate and doctoral studies).
