About Company

Since establishment of our company in 1978 we have been engaged in environmental technology as manufacturers of facilities and apparatuses for treatment of water / waste water as well as exhaust air purification.

We are a medium-sized company with approx. 50 employees and do our own plastic tank, apparatus and controller construction.

As a plant authorized according to section 19 of the Water Resources Law as well as the Regulation on Flammable Liquids specializing in the production of facilities for storage, filling, dosing and treatment of water endangering substances, we are subject to external quality assurance supervision by the Technical Control Association of Southern Germany.

Moreover, Co. Likusta designs, manufactures and mounts facilities and apparatuses for the evacuation and purification of corrosive exhaust air in accordance with the Technical Instructions-Air requirements as well as the Trade Law conditions (lower toxic limits).

For the design of facilities, tanks and apparatuses, our graduate engineers in the fields of: * ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY * OPERATING TECHNICS * UTILITIES ENGINEERING * MANUFACTURING TECHNICS * and ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING are at your disposal.

Manufacture of the facilities, tanks and apparatuses is at our plant in Lich by our regularly trained specialized staff (welders' examination by the Technical Control Association) equipped with the most advanced processing equipment. Mounting and commissioning of our products is by our specialized staff only.

Waste gas treatment and odour control systems

LIKUSTA biofilter systems are designed as single or multistage units according to the actual requirement for instance with a preset humidifier, bio- or chemical scrubber.

Due to close cooperation with universities, and research centers, latest scientific knowledge is available during process engineering.
Applications of environmentally friendly systems for biological gas treatment increase steadily nowadays. The polluted gas passes through a pourus carrier. The micro organisms settling on the organic carrier convert air pollutants into CO2 and water.

The production of LIKUSTA chemical dosing systems is done with most modern manufacturing tools in our facility LICH. They will be delivered test run and ready for immediate operation at customer site.

Overfertilizing of the water with Phosphate causes the government to put very low limits on the operators of waste-water treatment plants for feeding of Phosphates into the water.

The Phosphate elimination by the so called precipitation, a physical-chemical reaction with iron or aluminium salts, allows for maintaining the officially allowed maximum concentration. LIKUSTA offers a broad spectrum of possible applications starting with a small waste water treatment plant up a grouped waste water treatment plant with dissolving station for iron salts.
