PUK-Werke KG Berlin is an independent, private enterprise, run in the best tradition of German medium-sized businesses and can look back on 75 years of successful company history. Over the past decades, PUK has gathered experience in the development, production, and assembly of cable support systems and underfloor systems for German and international construction projects. Throughout our history we have been constantly working on enhancing and expanding our product portfolio. 

PUK has enjoyed equal success with its newest product group, an underframe mounting system for photovoltaic panels, called PUK-Solarline. After an intensive development phase, the system was ready for market at the end of 2009 and has since been installed in many PV plants in Germany and Europe.

PUK-Solarline is a statically optimised and tested mounting system that is simply designed, good value, and easy to install. The system, including all the fittings, is manufactured exclusively by PUK in Germany, and can be used for all types of solar modules. 

A decisive advantage of PUK-Solarline is our ability to take care of all project responsibilities, from planning to completion. PUK’s wide range of services includes foundation work, delivery, base frame construction, and mounting of the solar modules. 

The requirements of every PV installation are taken into account and an individual offer is prepared. First, all relevant project details are recorded in a construction planning data sheet. Based on this information, the dimensioning programme, PUK-SolarWare can determine the optimal base frame configuration for every PV installation.

PUK-SolarWare structurally analyses the project requirements and then, based on British Standards, DIN 1055, and Eurocode regulations, verifies the optimal mounting structure. 

All parts are manufactured in our own production facilities, either in Berlin or in our Schönecken factory in Rhineland-Palatinate. The supporting profiles, cross beams, longitudinal beams, diagonal strutting, and connector parts are all made of steel. The next step is hot-dip galvanizing, which ensures a minimum durability of 25 years.

The PUK-Solarline mounting system has been examined and certified according to the valid TÜV (German Technical Inspection Association) specifications for PV mounting systems. New expertise in the field of photovoltaic technology is constantly being incorporated into the dimensioning software. We design the sub-constructions, lay the foundations for an efficient preparation and a smooth construction process, and provide professional expertise and support on site. 

We have supplied and erected sub-constructions for over 300 megawatts of installed power since the end of 2009. Alongside projects in Germany, PUK-Solar KG continues to help realise photovoltaic installations in Europe and beyond.

As a result of the extended EEG regulations, the solar industry in Germany can expect a secure future.

Local communities and private investors are becoming increasingly willing to erect PV parks on fallow farmlands, industrial sites, or military conversion areas. As the amount of open area and rooftop photovoltaic systems grows, so does the interest in erecting new systems, either for immediate use or eventual leasing. 

PUK-SOLARLINE

Our decades of experience in equipping and meeting the demands of conventional power plants has enabled us to supply large quantities of construction components, assemble complex systems, quickly manufacture required parts, and provide all necessary engineering services. We have brought this know-how to the Solarline product group.

The PUK-Solarline catalogue can help project developers and EPC companies choose the most suitable PV sub-construction system. PUK-Solarline provides solutions for single or double support systems with single-, double-, or multiple-row panel configurations. 

Our building constructions can be erected on all types of foundations, whether ramming, ground anchoring, or concrete installation is required.

PUK-Solarline offers an assembly system that is

Our supports work with every solar module made by every manufacturer. We design each system based on the project’s specific details, taking into account, for example, the location, foundation type, module size, and configuration.

We predominantly use hot-dip galvanized steel profiles from our well-proven standard product range.

Our wide range of services includes foundation work, supply and assembly of the base frames, as well as installation of the solar modules. We will design a customised offer for every PV system based on individual project requirements.

PUK-Solarline has been tested and certified according to the TÜV specification TZE/2.572.11.
